Mathematics Is Not Real

Of course AI is good at a game of manipulating symbols with well defined rules. We knew this since computers surpassed humans at chess. Math is just another game of symbols.

I'll be impressed when AI can achieve something impressive in the real world, something humanity can't create yet:

Room temperature superconductor.

Fusion reactor.

Anti-aging pill.

Peace in the Middle East.
