to me Hi Jacques,

I saw on your HN profile that you founded https://www.google.com/url?q=http://ww.com&source=gmail&ust=1791535771876000&sa=E and Modular Company and angel invest. I'd like to make you a different kind of offer.

I can work for you full-time, remotely and exclusively for 18–24 months under a signed contract, on your own brand or across the companies you back (design, video, Meta/Google ads, Shopify, front-end). I'm in serious debt (about USD 14,000) with no other way out, so I'm asking for that amount upfront in exchange for my committed work. That's about $600–780 a month. I'm happy to sign a binding legal contract and complete full background verification.

Background: B.Tech CSE, Graphic Designer at Edustudy International, Frontend Developer (UI/UX) at Ralfiz Technologies. Portfolio: https://www.google.com/url?q=https://drive.google.com/file/d/1a4C1eSohMUVUbsULEkg_WPtBKDaoeDgn/view?usp%3Dsharing&source=gmail&ust=1791535771876000&sa=E

Could we talk for 15 minutes this week?

Scammers seem to use Hacker News heavily. Presumably the moderators keep the scam messages off Hacker News itself, but the moderators can't stop scammers from emailing people.

Posting on the "Ask HN: Who wants to be hired?" threads returns a ton of scams, particularly fake recruitment scams. Lightly obfuscating my email address like user at domain dot com didn't help much. Since changing my email address on there to a link to an image, I haven't got any scam messages or spam (yet).
